// Placement
From first hello to homecoming.
A Cane Corso is a significant commitment. Our process gives both your family and our program time to ask questions, set expectations and make a thoughtful decision. Approval is not a contest, and a deposit is not the first step — the first step is understanding fit.
01
Learn about the breed
Review the breed guide, costs, health approach and training expectations. Every adult in the household should understand the size, strength, guardian instincts and daily commitment involved.
02
Book a consultation
Use the complimentary 30-minute Chat Corso conversation to discuss timing, household, experience and available or planned litters — and ask direct questions about the program.
03
Complete the fit questionnaire
Begin with a short form covering housing, household, other animals, schedule, experience and goals. If the initial fit looks promising, continue to the detailed placement application.
04
Application review
We tell you what happens next and the possible outcomes: approved for a current litter, approved for a future litter, additional conversation needed, or not approved.
05
Agreement & deposit
Approved families receive the full agreement before payment: total price, the current $500 transferable deposit, refund status, balance date and accepted payment methods — Apple Pay, Cash App, Zelle or Chime — plainly.
06
Observation & matching
We share development updates and consider family needs alongside repeated puppy observations, then recommend the puppy best suited to your family.
07
Preparation, travel & homecoming
Confirm records, supplies, food, travel, first veterinary visit and the early training plan — with a go-home checklist and a clear contact channel.
08
Lifelong connection
Updates and questions are always welcome. Breeder support stays open; medical and behavior emergencies belong with qualified professionals.
